22 May 2010

Updated version (7 June)
Now before anything happens, I would like to comment on the toilets. The concept of disposing tissue papers (stained or not) into the dustbin and NOT into the toilet bowl (sewer) is totally revolting! Besides that, everything seems good.

Set off very early.. 7-8am? Went to Huashan. Landscape architecture exhibition, by year 5 students of CYCU and other universities. I can see that they really use a lot of green and also polystyrene (and i really mean a LOT) to make contours. Details are very detailed and precise, and the presentation boards are much nicer, although not very straight to the point.

Kimmy even had an interview about our own university, televised.

Nearing evening we passed by a wall of motherboards, which was a 'memorial' for a pc fair.

Makan @ Vietnamese rest.
We then went to Taipei 101, but did not go up due to long queue.
Then to eslite 24/7 bookstore. Too bad them books are all in Traditional Han.
Very very tired at the end of the day. Feels like working.

Oh well. It certainly is quite a different world out here.
